We had entered the hide before sunrise and had waited patiently and quietly for the light to come up and for something to show up. We were at a relatively high altitude, although thankfully we had driven all the way up, and the view from the hide was spectacular. We did not have to wait long, the wildcat slinked into view, clearly very wary, moving slowly and looking around for danger. This shot was taken shortly after the Wildcat first appeared.
