European Mouflon (female), Ovis Aries musimon,

I was photographing in Spain with Mark and we had gone out with our guide during the late afternoon to try to photograph Chamois. We drove up a rough track to the highest point we could reach, but it was still a steep climb. I chose to carry the 600mm f/4, because I knew we would photograph in the fading light, but it was heavy on the steep slopes. At the top a pass or col we could see over to the other valley and on a high ridge to our right was this Mouflon in silhouette against the evening sky.
