Grey seal, Halichoerus grypus

This was shot on Fuji Velvia slide film and the exposure details are not recorded. This was taken at a time when it was still possible to walk own the beach and be close to the seals. Now visitors are restricted by a fence and have to keep to a specific walk-way. It was great day on a windy beach watching the behaviour of the adult seals and capturing the young pups still in their white coats.
