Grizzly bear Ursus arctos horibilis
Silver Salmon Creek, Alaska, USA
We had traveled to the Lodge at Silver Salmon Creek, which is on the western shores of Cook Inlet and Lake Clark National Park I was travelling with Mark and we were meant to get a small plane from Soldoltna but somehow missed our flight. We ended up travelling by boat and doing a transfer between boats somewhere out in the Cook Inlet. The bears had gathered for the salmon run and we travelled the coastal flats in UTVs looking for bears.
